Who we are

Puerto Nuevo means “New Port.”

Our name comes from Psalm 107 — the story of weary travelers whom God guides through the storm to a safe harbor. We long to be that kind of place: a harbor of welcome, belonging, rest, and new beginnings, with Jesus — the light that guides us home — at the center.

“He brings them to their desired haven.”

Psalm 107:30

Our Mission

Everything begins with Jesus

Who Is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God who became one of us. He lived the life we couldn't live and died the death we deserved. Three days later He rose again — and today He offers forgiveness and new life to everyone who trusts in Him.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

What we believe

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God.

We uphold the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the final authority for our faith and life. We believe Jesus is God — fully divine and fully human — who died for our sins, rose from the dead, and will come again.
